Kids grow and change so quick. Maybe it is not obvious it in the moment, but it becomes clear when looking at the images even from 6 months ago. Their features lean out, the chuncky baby plumsters slowly disappear into active toddlers and before you know it, they are going to their first grade. Every mom wants the time to slow down, but there is no other way to do it other than capture it in the images. Each moment is unique and precious. It is an honour to be able to preserve even one of them.
So many of you reached out asking about these, so I wanted to open them for those who need to plan ahead. The backdrop pictured above is the one that will be used. I photographed it in my home studio which is no where near big enough to fit 8x10 background. In person, it is wider and taller than what you see here.
As the summer neared its end, I had a pleasure of photographing this wonderful family on their special day at Meadowvale Village Hall.
Having lived in Mississauga most of my life, I was very surprised to discover that I actually have never been to historical Meadowvale where Meadowvale Village Hall is located. The venue was very cute and charming. I loved the large windows and natural light. I still used flash to even out the skin colors though.
The decorations and the theme were a pleasure to photograph and edit. Especially the cake made by CakesX-quizet. The pictures do not do it justice. The amount of details was outstanding and you could tell the cake was made with love.
So much preparation, care, and love went into this amazing event! I had fun time documenting this for years to come!
Thank you for choosing me to capture these moments!
We took so many gorgeous images, changed a few set ups. It was perfect. I was so happy. It makes me so happy to save these memories for the parents. No matter how sleep deprived they are, they will always recall this time with love…
90% of my baby sessions are done with the parent sitting right by the baby’s side. New environment, outfit change, stranger with the camera make most babies anxious during the session. Having a parent sitting next to them is for safety and for comfort. It also helps with a separation anxiety that all babies go through.
When it came to taking birthday pictures of my little one, I decided that the sessions will be all about who she is and our family. So starting with her second birthday, I put together custom birthday sets for her every year. I ask her to open her presents during the photoshoot. I photograph her emotions. This innocent child happiness is so short lived, I want to absorb and keep it all.
I believe that every girl should love the way she looks. I am strongly considering princess mini sessions addition to my offerings! Keep an eye out! I will make it beautiful and there will be a ready to hang print included. It is all about prints, right?
